Brother Michael Dundin, Oil painting, watercolors
Michael Dundin, F.S.C., holds
a B.A. in Latin and Greek Literature and an M.F.A. in Painting and Sculpture from Catholic
University of America, Washington D.C. He has studied at the Art Students' League of New York
City, where he was awarded a full scholarship in 1969 and 1977, and the Woodstock School of
Art, where he was awarded Artist in Residency in 1998 and 2000 (summer sessions).
Brother Michael has had one-man shows in Providence and Wickford, Rhode Island,
and shows his work at galleries in NYC, Stoneybrook and Sayville, NY, and Westerly and Newport,
RI.
His awards include numerous "Best of Show" honors since the early
1970s; and 1st Place in Watercolors and 2nd Place in Oils at the Fairhaven Art Festival in
Fairhaven, MA, in 1998.
Br. Michael's illustrations appear in books published by St. Mary's Press and
Sadlier & Co. He accepts commissions for illustrations
and paintings.
