Artist's statement:

Vincent Marenghi works to duplicate pictures he sees in his mind's eye. These, he says, can best be described as celestial images. "I just thought everyone has pictures floating around in their head that they'd paint if they had time." 

About Vincent Marenghi:

A retired Teamster Union official, now living and making art in Rhode Island, Vincent Marenghicontinues to explore creating visual expressions of his internal visions. Several galleries in Rhode Island have started featuring his mostly-duotone work, which one critic dubbed "Pollock minus pallette." Vincent's work was recently exhibited in the International Cultural Community Exhibition in Nassau, Bahamas.
