Waste (Not), Want (Not)
was orchestrated by Sandra Aarons Krupp, who delights in acting as a catalyst
to spark the creative
fires of others in classes, workshops and collaborative community creations. The inspiration
for the installation at Breslin Gallery came from a class she created for the North Kingstown
(RI) Arts Council.
Following are statements from the six artists who created the installation:

Sandra
Aarons Krupp
She is particularly inspired by the challenge of an improvisational
approach to making art
with whatever is at hand. "Reclaim, Rebloom"
is a theme she has worked
with in a variety of ways for the past eight years.

I believe
the difference between what is and what could be is determined
by what lives within. It
is in the process of creation that I come to know what is,
come to believe in what can be and
find a voice for what lives within |
Patience Peck
As a former
Art Director/social worker, I am currently a multi-media artist; working primarily in collage. I
find this installation project very challenging.
