Recent works
on paper by printmaker Dore Page,
URI's current printer-in residence.
Dore's recent work delves into her past experiments with constructivism,
typography, and the
ephemeral decor of popular culture, resulting in vivid, pop-culture
hybrid.
Although
the exhibit is not a retrospective of the artist's work, several
early
pieces are included to
help the viewer understand how her past work has influenced
the current prints..
